Shipping Policy

At By Lau Pereira, orders are shipped via CTT and DPD, in partnership with fully licensed transport providers.

1. Order processing

  • Orders are processed on business days only (Monday to Friday). No shipments are made on weekends or national holidays.
  • After payment confirmation, By Lau Pereira commits to preparing and dispatching all orders within 48 business hours.
  • Orders placed before 11:30 a.m. will, whenever possible, be dispatched on the same business day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next business day.

2. Carrier selection

During checkout, customers may choose the available carrier for their order (CTT or DPD), depending on the delivery address and available options at that time.

Carrier selection may affect shipping costs and delivery times, and all available options are displayed at checkout.

3. Delivery times

  • Delivery times shown at checkout are indicative and start from the dispatch date.
  • In mainland Portugal, delivery usually takes 1 to 5 business days after dispatch, depending on the carrier and destination.
  • For the Autonomous Regions (Azores and Madeira), delivery times may be longer and will be indicated at checkout when applicable.

4. Order delivery

  • Deliveries are made to the address provided during checkout, Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • The customer is fully responsible for providing accurate delivery details. We recommend carefully reviewing all information before completing the purchase.
  • Carriers may send delivery notifications by email and/or SMS. A valid mobile phone number is required for this service.

5. Delays and circumstances beyond our control

Delivery times may be affected by factors beyond the control of By Lau Pereira, including:

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses;
  • Recipient absence at the delivery address;
  • Strikes, adverse weather conditions, logistical disruptions, or force majeure events.

Shipping services are provided by third parties. Once the order has been dispatched, By Lau Pereira does not directly intervene in the distribution process.

In the event of delays, loss, or other issues, customers should contact the carrier using the tracking number, with our full support for clarification and assistance.

6. Prices and taxes

  • All prices displayed on the website include VAT at the applicable legal rate.
  • Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on delivery address, order weight, and dimensions.
  • By Lau Pereira reserves the right to update shipping prices and conditions without prior notice. The conditions in force at the time of purchase will always apply.
