Mole verde is the only completely prehispanic mole!

Milder than it might look, we recommend to serve this delicious and thick mole with chicken or pork, and if you are felling adventurous serve it with Duck. The green mole has a pronounced herbal flavour and is prepared with tomato, green chile, onion, garlic and spices. It is thickened with corn dough, pumpkin seeds and pips. It is given aroma and flavour with Mexican condiments hoja santa and epazote. 

Storage: Keep in a dry, cool place. Once opened, keep refrigerated for a maximum of 5 days.
