Serving Tip – Xiqueño Mole Paste

Mix with hot broth until silky and drizzle over enchiladas, grilled meats, roasted vegetables or tamales. Also amazing as a dipping sauce for nachos.

Ingredients

Dried chiles (ancho and mulato), sugar, soybean oil, banana, corn tortilla, breadcrumbs (wheat flour, water, salt, yeast) and/or biscuit (enriched wheat flour, glucose syrup, sugar, vegetable fat, raising agents, iodised salt), sesame seeds, raisins, onion, peanuts, almonds, spices, garlic, iodised salt, potassium sorbate.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep refrigerated. If you have already mixed the paste with stock to make the sauce, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days.
