El Yucateco Pasta de Achiote 100g

Achiote paste is made from ground annatto seeds, which are grown in the Yucatan Peninsula in southeast Mexico. 

Achiote is used in traditional Yucatan and Central American dishes influenced by the Mayan culture.  Great for seasoning and marinating grilled or roasted beef, chicken and the most famous Cochinita Pibil - Yucatan style barbecued pork. 

No colouring added to any achiote products. Just dilute 1oz of paste with a cup of vinegar.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
